whenera is a free game about historical dates plus an encyclopedia of events: fact cards, year-guessing and event-ordering modes, a daily cup and community-made packs.

• Registration is open to users aged 13 or older. Creating an account confirms you are at least 13.
• Provide a working email — it is needed to restore access and handle requests.
• You are responsible for your password and for activity under your account.
• We may restrict or ban accounts that violate these terms.

Automating gameplay (bots, scripts), exploiting bugs and inflating scores or rankings are prohibited. Violations lead to voided results and account bans.

You may create fact packs (community packs). By creating content, you:

• keep your rights to it, but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, display, distribute and technically process the content inside the service, including in collections and service promotion; the license survives for a reasonable time after deletion (caches and backups);
• warrant that you have the right to use the texts and image links you add;
• accept that the service does not host the images — you are responsible for the legality of the links.

Do not post content that violates the law or others' rights, offensive or discriminatory content, advertising spam, or material unrelated to the service's theme. We may hide or remove such content and packs without notice, and ban accounts for repeated violations.

Images come from external sources under public domain and Creative Commons licenses — details and attribution are on the Content & rights page.

Event texts are short retellings of facts that may contain inaccuracies. The service is not a textbook and does not guarantee completeness or accuracy.

The service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, absence of errors, or preservation of progress after failures, and are not liable for indirect damages to the extent permitted by law.

New versions are published on this page; registered users are notified of material changes. Continuing to use the service means accepting the updated terms.
